Cookie Policy.

How we use cookies and similar technologies — and how you stay in control.

Effective Date: June 29, 2026  ·  Last Updated: June 29, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Cranium AI, Inc. (“Cranium,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites at cranium.ai and related properties (the “Site”). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site recognize your device, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags, local storage, and software development kits (together with cookies, “cookies”). Cookies may be “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by a partner), and “session” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” (remaining until they expire or you delete them).

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

We group cookies into the categories below. The specific providers may change; our cookie banner reflects the current inventory.

Category Purpose Examples
Strictly necessary Enable core functions like security, network management, and remembering your privacy choices. Always on. Session, load-balancing, consent-state, reCAPTCHA (bot protection)
Analytics / performance Help us understand how visitors use the Site — including where people click, scroll, and engage — so we can improve it. Google Analytics, Hotjar, Crazy Egg (clicks & heatmaps), HubSpot analytics
Functional Remember choices and power our forms, contact, and CRM. HubSpot (forms & CRM)
Visitor identification Identifies the company and, in some cases, the business individual visiting our Site by matching against third-party identity data. Not run on visitors identified as California residents. May be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal data under some state laws. RB2B
Advertising / targeting Measure campaigns and deliver relevant ads on and off the Site. May involve “sharing” identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising. LinkedIn Ads and similar ad/social platforms

Our analytics tools (such as Crazy Egg and Hotjar) may record on-page interactions like clicks and scrolling; we configure them to avoid capturing the contents of sensitive form fields. Our visitor-identification tool (RB2B) is disabled for visitors we identify as California residents.

3. Your Choices & Controls

Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can accept, reject, or customize cookies at any time through our cookie banner or preferences link. You can also control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies and notify you when one is set. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.

Opt-out preference signals. We honor recognized opt-out signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC). When we detect a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal data for targeted advertising for that browser or device. See Section 8 of our Privacy Policy.

Do Not Sell or Share. To opt out of advertising-related sharing tied to your account, use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information form.

Analytics & ad opt-outs. Rejecting analytics cookies in our banner stops tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, Crazy Egg, and HubSpot analytics. You can also opt out of Google Analytics via Google’s browser add-on, opt out of many interest-based ads via the DAA and EDAA tools, and opt out of visitor identification and ad-related sharing tied to your account via our Do Not Sell or Share form.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last Updated” date. For questions, email privacy@cranium.ai.
